Weekly Photo Challenge 2012 (Older)

I have relocated my weekly photo challenges to a new place:
“Bear In Sight” … bearyweatherphoto.wordpress.com

Using just this one page attached to my blog did not work very well so I have attached another blog, instead. This new photo blog will allow me to keep all of my photo challenges in one place and for you to comment on specific photos instead of the whole batch.

This blog, “Bear In Mind” (bearyweather.wordpress.com) is still my blogging home.

Here is my entry for Weekly Photo Challenge: Peaceful
The forest, by its nature, is peaceful. I think that water adds a calming feature to the peacefulness. (click to enlarge):

  1. Good work, Erica bear. Love the little leaf “boat,” swans (?) and vertical reflections. Reflections are one my favorite subjects. Couldn’t find a like to like. Visit me at f-stop fantasy ( https://fstopfantasy.wordpress.com/ ). Let me know what you think.

    • Sorry, I am not Erica Bear. But, I am glad that you liked my pictures and commented. Yes, they are swans.
I think the reason I do not have a “like” button on this page is because it is a separate page of my blog. I thought it would be nice to have all the challenges in one place, but maybe this was not the right place to put them.

  2. Nice collection of pics, well done

  3. Love the shots, especially the tree covered in snow!

  7. Very well done! Love the images!

  8. Simple photo theme – Nice capture. Cloudy days are the best for shooting floral, nature images.

    • Cloudy, January days in northern MN are very dark even with the snow. When I saw that the challenge this week was “Simple”, I had the idea of shooting shadows but the sun is not cooperating. Maybe I will be able to shoot a nice shadow later in the week.

  9. nice simple post
